| บทคัดย่อ: จากตำรายาไทย กล่าวถึงการใช้เถาสดของเพชรสังฆาต (Cissus quadrangularis L.; Vitidaceae) รับประทานแก้โรคริดสีดวงทวาร และในปัจจุบันได้มีการนำมาใช้รักษาผู้ป่วยในโรงพยาบาลบางแห่ง แต่ยังไม่มีการศึกษาถึงกลไกการออกฤทธิ์ ดังนั้นผู้วิจัยจึงได้ทำการศึกษาการออกฤทธิ์ของสารดังกล่าว จากการศึกษาการออกฤทธิ์ของผงอบแห้งของต้นเพชรสังฆาตและสารสกัด alcohol 80% ในขนาด 100,200 และ 400 mg. ซึ่งให้แก่หนูที่ถูกเหนี่ยวนำให้เกิดการอักเสบที่ฝ่าเท้าด้วย 1% carrageenan มาแล้ว 2 ชั่วโมง พบว่ามีฤทธิ์ลดการอักเสบอย่างไม่มีนัยสำคัญ และจากการศึกษาทางพฤกษเคมีพบสารกลุ่ม steroids, flavonoids และ phenolic compounds นอกจากนี้ได้มีการบันทึก TLC pattern เพื่อเป็นข้อมูลสำหรับการศึกษาวิจัยต่อไป |
| abstract: Cissus quadrangularis Linn. ; Vitidaceae has long been known for treatment of hemorrhoid in Thai folkloric medicine but no scientific report is reported. In the study, rat were induced to show inflammation by using 1% carrageenan. Two hours after inducing, dry powder and alcoholic extract (80% ethanol) of stem were orally administered at dose 100, 200 and 400 mg/kg body wt. It can be concluded that Cissus stem reduced the inflammation insignificantly. The phytochemical study presented that stems contain steroids, flavonoids and phenolic compounds. TLC patterns were recorded for further study. |
