| บทคัดย่อ: การพัฒนาสูตรตำรับครีมบำรุงผิวหน้าที่มีส่วนผสมของสมุนไพร เป็นโครงการพิเศษที่มี จุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อคิดค้นสูตรตำรับครีมบำรุงผิวหน้าจากผลิตภัณฑ์ธรรมชาติ เพื่อให้เป็นอีกทางเลือกหนึ่งในการป้องกันหรือชะลอริ้วรอยเหี่ยวย่นของผิวหน้าแก่ผู้ที่มีอายุมากขึ้น ซึ่งผิวหน้ามักจะปรากฏริ้วรอยที่ไม่พึงปรารถนา โครงการนี้จึงเป็นการส่งเสริมการใช้สมุนไพรเพื่อผลิตเครื่องสำอาง การทดลองเริ่มต้นจากการสกัดน้ำมันเมล็ดยอด้วยเฮกเซนและเปรียบเทียบน้ำมันเมล็ดยอกับสาร สำคัญมาตรฐานโดยวิธี TLC และทำการเตรียมน้ำคั้นจากผลมะเขือเทศและทำให้เป็นผงแห้งด้วยวิธี spray dry เปรียบเทียบผงน้ำคั้นกับสารสำคัญมาตรฐานโดยวิธี TLC จากนั้นทำการเตรียมครีมเบสรวมทั้งศึกษาคุณสมบัติทางกายภาพของครีมเบส เพื่อหาครีมเบสที่เหมาะสมสำหรับพัฒนาสูตรตำรับครีมบำรุงผิวหน้าที่มีส่วนผสมของน้ำคั้นผลมะเขือเทศและน้ำมันเมล็ดยอ ทำการเตรียมครีมและศึกษาคุณสมบัติทางกายภาพและความคงตัวของสูตรตำรับดังกล่าว คัดเลือกสูตรตำรับที่มีส่วนผสมของน้ำคั้นผลมะเขือเทศและน้ำมันเมล็ดยอที่เหมาะสมมา 1 ตำรับ ทดสอบคุณสมบัติลดรอยเหี่ยวย่นในอาสาสมัคร โดยให้อาสาสมัครทาครีมที่มีส่วนผสมของน้ำคั้นผลมะเขือเทศและน้ำมันเมล็ดยอบริเวณหางตาด้านซ้าย และครีมเบสบริเวณหางตาด้านขวา ในตอนเช้าและก่อนนอนทุกคืนเป็นเวลา 5 สัปดาห์ วัดผลด้วยเครื่อง visioscan จากผลการทดลองพบว่า ครีมทั้งสองมีคุณสมบัติในการลดรอยเหี่ยวย่นของผิวหนังได้ สำหรับสูตรตำรับที่มีน้ำคั้นผลมะเขือเทศและน้ำมันเมล็ดยอสามารถลดรอยเหี่ยวย่นของผิวหนังได้มากกว่าครีมเบสอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ จากการทดลองนี้จึงมีความเป็นไปได้ที่จะเพิ่มการผลิต (scale up) ครีมบำรุงผิวหน้าที่มีส่วนผสมของน้ำคั้นผลมะเขือเทศและน้ำมันเมล็ดยอในขั้นอุตสาหกรรมต่อไป |
| abstract: The development of herbal facial cream formulation is a special project aimed to develop facial cream containing herbal extracts. It is an alternative skin care phytocosmetics. The indian mulberry (Morinda citrifolia L.) seed oil was extracted by hexane and thin-layer chromatogram comparisons of the extract to fatty acid standards were performed. Moreover, the tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.) fruit juice was prepared by spray dry method and the spray-dried juice was compared with standard lycopene on thin-layer chromatogram. The studies of the physical properties of cream base formulas were investigated to obtain the suitable cream base for the incorporation of powdered tomato fruit juice and indian mulberry seed oil. The formulated herbal facial creams were prepared and the physical properties and stability study were conducted for the optimum herbal facial cream used for anti-wrinkle study. The anti-wrinkle activity was compared between formulated herbal facial cream and cream base in volunteers. The creams were applied on the end of left eye skin, the end of right eye skin, respectively, in the morning and before bedtime everyday for 5 weeks. Skin wrinkle was determined by visioscan. The result showed that the cream base and the herbal facial cream had anti-wrinkle property, but the herbal facial cream significantly better than the cream base. It is therefore promising to scale up the production of facial cream containing tomato fruit juice and indian mulberry seed oil for phytocosmetics industry. |
